last stand: dead zone is a new facebook game that combines simulation games because of the part of the game where you need to build objects that will increase the productivity, security, confort of the base and your survivors and action because of the part of the game where you will control your survivors on scavenging materials on deserted and infested buildings.

Upgrade your base/ base management
Your base is your home. Upgrading your home's comfort and security rating would entice survivors to your base. More survivors means more people to defend and more people to scavenge on field.
Scavenge for items
Besides taking care of your base, you need to scavenge for food, materials as well as weapons to arm your survivors. Scavenging for items is the action game part of last stand: dead zone.
Survivors have different roles
You can assign roles to your survivors. Roles such as scavenger, fighter, medic and engineer. These different roles will help you scavenge and defend your base. Will you choose a scavenging team full of scavengers for quick scavenging or will you go to the "kill all" zombies route?
Weapons and Equipments
There are several kinds of weapons as well as several kinds of equiments ingame. Weapons ranging from shotguns, pistols and rifles as well as melee weapons. Equipments can increase the range of your survivor or increase their damage. there are also some equipments that will increase their scavenging speed or heal speed.
Flaws
Still in beta
The game is still in beta and you might encounter some bugs and glitches. Some items like barricades does not obstruct enemy movements and just there to increase your security rating. The Engineer role does not do anything special like the scavengers(increase scavenging speed though) but there are hints that enginners in the future can disable traps.

The last stand: dead zone is a new facebook game from the creators of popular flash games last stand and last stand 2. Even if this game is still in beta, the features are enough for you to enjoy the game.
