Wasteland empires is a new facebook game. In this new facebook game, you are trying to build a home or a base in an urban wasteland. This new facebook game has a continuing story or quest that will let you progress throughout the game.

Wasteland empires a new facebook game has the basic war simulator game gameplay with added some added features. This new simulator facebook game's added feature is on the form of attacking other people's bases. If you remember my edgeworld game review and the strategy about attacking and defending, in this new facebook game you can virtually control your units while attacking other people's base while in edgeworld you cannot. This makes for better strategy and not for the Ai to get buggy.
Other features of wasteland empires is that it has 3 kinds of resources that you can use for units, special units you can buy in the scrapyard, buildings among others. There is also a research option in wasteland empire but this is more like a prerequisit to upgrade your buildings and not exactly do anything else. New lands should be cleared of rubble before being able to build something. There is also an option that there should be a well somewhere near or you cannot build on that land. A good similarity is the protoss in starcraft and the pylons were you cannot place buildings somewhere else but just within the pylons reach.
Quest especially the one that you need to attack NPC colonies are really hard and can hinder your quest. The story quest they say will progress you to the game but they are more like a prerequisite to more quest now than making the story move forward.
Because this new facebook game is so new, there are still some features being added, bugs can still be seen but that will change after this game aged a bit.

Graphics for this new facebook game feels like an urban wasteland but one problem is that destroyed buildings, rubble and your buildings looks similarly the same that it is sometimes hard to distinguish them. This facebook game is also a little bit ram intensive that old computers will have problem playing this game.

Wasteland empires a new facebook game is a step ahead with the same kind of war simulator games in facebook. Most simulator games in facebook just add new features but copy an existing similar game making them more unique or more new. This game is a try but not recommended because of the bugs and because there are new simulator games coming out every week that has better features than this one.
